Doug Drew

Doug Drew has built a reputation as one of the most solid and dependable time keepers in Greater Cincinnati. His attention to detail and ability to play the right part at the right time – and play it every time – is evident during every performance.  Yet his humble nature and laid back personality make him one of Cincinnati’s best kept drumming secrets.  That’s OK by us, because we’d prefer to have him all to ourselves!

Doug started playing drums at age 9.  He played for the marching band, jazz band and concert band in high school, then continued playing for Miami Universities marching band while acquiring a BS degree in Systems Analysis.  He traveled with the marching band and competed in various indoor drum line competitions playing both Snare Drum and Quads.  Doug also acquired a MBA from Xavier University!

Doug has played and performed with various local bands including Avenger, Blind Ambition, Bad Intent and Nightlife before founding DV8 with Chuck, Melissa and Phil.
